Sandford Talking Shop Ltd. is a Community Benefit Society. This means it is a membership organisation, owned and run by its members. Anyone (individual 16 years+, group or business) that agrees with Talking Shop's aims can apply to become a member. You don't have to be based in the area we cover. The Society is organised and promoted by a board drawn from the membership. Board members will be elected annually at the AGM. The importance of membership Communities and volunteers who support each other, build friendships and break down barriers can transform lives. Now that we have our own space we can do so much more of this. The more people who are involved and who have a say as members, the better we will be able to understand and meet our communities’ challenges. Annual membership Shareholder £10 (renewable yearly)The more local voices we have in our membership the better the Talking Shop project will be.
Better understanding of local issues, better ideas, better solutions, better and stronger community.... Just £10 makes you a voting, shareholding member for a year. *
