Talking Lunch: lunch club, first Wednesday of the month
Come to lunch:
The lunch is run for grown ups (18+). Some people come with friends. Some come on their own. Everyone is welcome. We all sit at big tables, so no-one is left out. Our volunteers work together to deliver a very special two course meal to about 30 guests each month: without fail there are beautiful flowers on the table, a carefully considered menu, a raffle, entertaining speeches, good company and conversation, and caring service. It is a very friendly social opportunity: a chance for grown ups of all ages to meet up over great food.
Places are booked in advance so that the team know how many to cater for.

Join the Volunteer Team:
Talking Lunch has been running since 2013 thanks to the commitment and energy of this volunteer team.
There are lots of ways to get involved. The team share a wide range of jobs -
communicating with lunchers and taking bookings, publicising the club, planning the meal, shopping, and preparing in the days before
then cooking, setting up for the lunch, serving food, clearing tables, washing up, running the raffle, and of course eating and chatting with lunchers on the day.
